Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas

Okay here we are in Hot Springs Arkansas.

This is the National Park visitors building, notice the fountain and see the steam coming from the water! Yes hot water 140 degrees....People come and fill up containers of the water suppose to have healing powers. There are faucets just for that purpose all around town.

Of course a picture of Gremlin with Paul, in the background you can see a staircase, there is a wonderful walkway parallel to the main street.

Hot Springs is also the hometown of Bill Clinton.

Check out Paul with Gremlin on the upper walkway....

This is the main street with the bath houses on the left. This is called Bathhouse Row.

I love the old building, this one is the Plaza Hotel....is there a Plaza Hotel in everytown??

Look at this building, just beautiful..

The Hale Bathhouse built in 1892. All the bathhouses had tile roofs, and were very ornate inside...

Hale Bathhouse, just one on Bathhouse Row.

This bathhouse was open for business, would be a nice place to relax for sure.

When we were walking the main street we came upon this Packard....It was in mint shape. We saw lots of antique cars during our trip, nothing seems to rust in the southwestern states. If you are looking to purchase an antique car and want to restore one, drive to Texas, Arizona, New Mexico....there are junk yards full of them.
