Phoenix, Arizona

As you drive into Phoenix, you will see along the road sides, wonderful drawings.

Overpasses with designs, with the southwest colors.

I just loved the designs, so artistic.

Overpasses so easy on your eyes, check out the pattern in the columns.

Nice not to have salt and harsh weather on the cement and tiles.

So we finally arrive at our destination in Phoenix, and as luck has it almost next door to our old neighbors from Rehoboth, Ma. if you look closely you can see behind the flag pole their motor home and yellow jeep.
We stayed at Valle Del Oro community RV Park, you cannot bring a tent trailer here only motor homes smallest 22 feet is allowed, so we just made it, it also has to be in good condition or you will not be allowed in. Rules, and Rules a packet of them, it was a beautful place, but you live under watching eyes 24/7. When we arrived we declared that we had a dog and cats, cats really don't matter because they don't go outside, but the dog did and we always declare Gremlin. So they gave us a site, no problem, a bit crowded but we can deal for a few days. Well the next morning we went to the office signed in officially, and then walked back to our motor home, we were followed and told we could not stay at this site, TOLD WE HAD TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THE DOG!
We had to go 1 street over, and they wanted to escort us like we were criminals, we were leaving for a family reunion so we declined the escort. They gave us our new site number, and we left. The dog can only walk in certain areas, a very small area near our site, but when Paul took Gremlin there, a women came out and told us that the dogs that use this area are getting parvo virus. No way am I going to expose our little dog to anything harmful, so we walked him in the street near our camper.
This really left a sour feeling about this resort, we will never ever stay at a place like this again, I think of the slogan on New Hampshire's licence plates "Live Free or Die" comes to mind... You were also suppose to wear name tags at all times in the park too, just not our cup of tea, we were very glad to leave...But from what I was told there are a lot of communitys like that...Just not for us!
